Rumour Of Frosty Relationship With Some Players.
I found it strange why some people will believe anything they read or heard hook, line and sinker without taking some times to read between the lines. He had worked with lots of players both former and presents, he had worked with some people for 10 years as parts of his technical team and they seems to maintain good relationship with mutual respects for all the years, Rui Faria worked with him for closely 17 years and they seems inseperable until the later went to have a career of his own, same for Silvino Louro. Even Baltemar Brito and Villa Boas that left earlier never said anything  Bad about their former boss, Luis figo was at the verge of retirement when a certain mourinho gave him treatment worthy of his status and was convinced to play for another year, Ibra played under him for a year, went to a certain bigger team under a certain big coach but lasted only few months before Ibra and his new coach stopped being on speaking terms. You can't deny the fact that Jose has a very great Personality and values loyalty.  You only believe what you want to believe and Love what and who you choose to love. I will talk about just three of his former players that were said to be rumoured to have a frosty relationship.
Eden Hazard : Don't know where the rumour emanated from but we all knew Eden enjoyed some of his best season as a Chelsea player on  a personal level and as a professional Under Jose. Chelsea won the league in 2014/2015 season and himself winning the PFA player of the year. Then Chelsea started slowly the following year before Jose left for the second time, until this time there have always been rumours of frosty relationship between himself and Jose but I think this Eden's remark after Jose left is enough to prove that nothing like a frosty relationship, just a minor arguments between a staff and boss of a company perhaps. In Eden's word later "I sent him the message to say I was sorry he had gone and … well … just that I was sorry,” he says. “We’d enjoyed all that success together last season, but this time round we hadn’t. I felt a little bit guilty because I’d been player of the year. I’d been one of the most decisive players, and this year I’d performed less well.  "I hadn’t been at the same level. So I sent that text to Jose and he came back to me, wishing me all the best for the future.
Iker Cassilas: Jose is someone that has always being giving respect to whom ever it's due right from the starts of his career as a manager, one thing he doesn't joke with are club icons, he mostly rejects clubs giving him whom to worked with when arriving at a new club and prefers working with club icons because he understands they know the club, will respect the tradition and of course will work genuinely for the interest of their beloved clubs. Put Mourinho in A.S Roma's bench  and I can bet Totti will be his right hand man or have a very important role. He did this with Carlos Mozer at Benfica, Steve Clarke at Chelsea, Giuseppe Baresi at inter and told Madrid he needed Zidane closer to the first team activities. A certain big coach is well known for getting rid of club icons or those that seems to be so big in the dressing room in his first or second year of his stays but that has never be the case for Jose. Similarly, the same way Jose respects and appreciates Club icons is the same way he doesn't accommodates mediocrity, laziness and disloyalty. He started well with Iker and was highly respected in the dressing room but if we all wouldn't be economical with the truth, we would agree that Jose was the first person that made us realised that Iker's form was dropping. He was dropped for Lopez in 2013, Anceloti continued with the trend, using him in CL football alone and of course we all saw the total dropped in form of Iker in 2014 Fifa word cup. There were also talks of mole in Madrid dressing room and we all knew that Iker's Fiance was Sara Cabanero who was a very popular sports Journalist, Whoever the RAT was, Jose never mentioned name but there is no smoke without fire, Iker as a Madridsta himself wasn't expected to be the mole, if he was which I'm not sure,  then that's disloyalty and treason in a government system.
Cristiano Ronaldo: wasn't in Madrid dressing room  but all I know is recently Ronaldo was Said to be backing Jose appointment to Juventus before Juventus went for Sarri. Whatever this means then I see the fights in Madrid isn't different from the one with Eden said earlier.
The Boo Fans: The last time I checked Jose was either given out his medals, given his suits or applauding the real fans with his players.  As for the boo fans from the  opponents, for me it's like the chain reaction and we all have our tolerance level.

Wrong Selling Of Players: why not talk about the right selling either, Some of these sold players later confessed that they wanted and needed the moves themselves, that it wasn't the coach initiated plans.  De bruyne asked for the move, same for some others. Sometimes it's the club that sanctions some of this sellings,They are expected to free some space for balancing, we all know football is business, they ask a coach to free up some space and also expects him to win trophies, mind you some of this players are relatively  young and inexperience, Even Arsen Wenger couldn't win the league for several years with kids. Most coaches sold players, Toure, Toni Kross, Eto'o fills, Deco, Ronaldinho and all aren't done with thier careers when Pep sold them out. Why do people keep talking about common things that every coaches does whenever Jose did same but failed to talk about the uncommon things he has done, things like his winning Mentality, winning with teams that are not expected to win anything, breaking age long records in good ways, achieving success and bringing out the best out of players which are said to have passed their peaks (This are uncommon traits). Sanctioning of good buys like the Sells of Ibra for Eto'o with €69.5 million, and later claimed success with the signing, What about selling of Cech in other to keep Courtois who is much younger. I don't see any reasons why selling or buying players should be an issue once he is having success with the ones he has.
Doesn't Support kids : Some of the kids that Jose gave Debuts to or sanctions their buys are Diogo Luis, Nuno Laranjeiro, Paulo Andrade, Carlos Alberto, Sam Hutchinson, Davide Santon, Mario Balotelli (Serie A debut), Alvaro Morata, Jese, Diego Lorente, Antonio Adan, Solanke, Loftus-Cheek, Bertrand Traore, Varane, Scott McTominay and some others. Google search about his guys and see what some had achieved or still achieving.
Spats With Some coaches : His spats with some managers are well documented but if you read between the lines, you will reliase it's not all his faults. Jose is someone that will take the heats for his players not to loose focus. Out of respect for Tito Villanova (Continue resting in peace legend) and The great Arsene I won't say anything here. Jose posted  a video celebrating Wenger at lifetime achievement award. Jose said "There were some episodes along the road. I
can only speak by myself. I really enjoyed the
competition. But the real respect was always
there," said Mourinho, in a video message to
Wenger.
"He made lots of history in that football club.
The nickname is there - the Invincibles.
Amazing. A coaching philosophy, the almost
perfect team.
"He is one of the best managers in the history
of football."

Incident With Refree Anders Frisk: Only Frank Rijkard can really say why he was coming out from the referee room at halftime full stop.

Goals Celebrations And Touch Line Antics: I haven't seeing anyone who does it best, Klopp, Simeone, Conte and the rest are far behind but Boss has left that page and space for the kids.

Arrogant Speeches: When you are confident, people with low self esteem term it as being arrogants. "Please don't call me arrogant,
but I'm European champion
and I think I'm a special
one. "  Isn't he special? Which other coach have you seeing winning CL with a team with FC Porto's budget from a league that isn't among the best four in Europe? Which other coach has repeat same feat ever since? Winning UEFA Cup and CL with the Same team two consecutive years (Respect Jose). "Of course. "Did you never
spend time reading the
philosopher Hegel ? He said:
'The truth is in the whole. It's
always in the whole that you
find the truth." Jose.... Another good important of a being a learned fellow is, you will have interest in seeking knowledge by reading extensively.
MANCHESTER UNITED TENURE: I really don't know if we could all be sincere with ourselves and wouldn't be so economical with the truths. Jose Mourinho time at United isn't a failure and Is still the best Manager United ever had post Ferguson, Jose is a serial winner, won the F. A Community Shield in his first official match for United, won Europa cup, a trophy United hasn't won before and qualified them for CL Football in the process, was second to only undisputed champions City. I'll continue arguing this till God knows when, City didn't have the better Manager between the two in my opinion, what they have is a management that is ready to sink and swim the deepest sea and even climb the highest moutain with thier coach because they believe so much in his system. Give the same supports to Jose then I can assure you that, he will win the league and send Pep to Sabbatical the second time in his career. Pep is surrounded by familiar faces at City.  I remembered what I told a friend when Txiki Begiristain joined City as their Director of football in 2012, I said Pep is going to city any moment from now, that Txiki Begiristain is only there to prepare the ground for him then few years later I was vindicated. You can't achieve much or any success at a place you're not wanted, we all remember the scenarios of Valdano at madrid and Frank Arnesen at Chelsea.  The role and responsilities giving to  Ed Woodward at United is too much for him, when it comes to finances, I doff my hat for him but when it comes to footballing activities Mr Ed Woodward is a novice and you can't compare him with Txiki in this regard. Its  only a Coach and a very good footballing savvy sporting director (And must be on the same page with the coach) that will understands what the club needed the most in terms of recruitments. City are winning in styles but I can assure you if you give the same support that Pep and Klopp are having at their various clubs then Jose will perform wonder too because he has proving that severally. Jose worked with what he had and achieved little success which I believe Pep wouldn't have done with the present United team, infact Ole should work extra hard in other not to be sacked anytime soon. Another important issue I'll love to briefly talk about, is the Issue of Paul Pogba. Dude you know within yourself that Boss loved you truthfully the same way he has always loved those before  you,  ask Didi. If you have to backstab someone it shouldn't be someone that showed you true love, treated you like a son and wants the best for you. You met lots of guys in that dressing room but he purposely wanted to make you the leader and captain of the team. He said this and more about you "Paul is one of the best players in the world
and will be a key part of the United team I
want to build here for the future.
"He is quick, strong, scores goals and reads
the game better than many players much older
than he is. At 23, he has the chance to make
that position his own here over many years.
He is young and will continue to improve; he
has the chance to be at the heart of this club
for the next decade and beyond."
Remarks About Jose By All And Sundries : Ferguson Said “It’s unfair really because he’s good-looking,”
Ferguson said. “He’s got that sort of George
Clooney light bits in his hair.
“But I think he’s a great example. He can
speak five languages or whatever he can. He
goes in as an interpreter for Bobby Robson,
follows him to Barcelona, works under Louis
van Gaal — he’s learning all the time. “He’s got a determination he wants to be a
coach. He never played the game by the way.
You tell me how many presidents would have
given a manager a job and never played?
None. But he’s done it.
“Then he goes and manages a small team in
Portugal. Then goes to Porto and wins the
league, the UEFA Cup and the European Cup.
Goes to Chelsea and wins the league twice in
a row. Goes to Inter Milan…
“That’s an example to anyone who wants to do
well. You shouldn’t let the barriers get in
your way if you want to get there.”
In
2010, Pep Guardiola described Mourinho as
"probably the best coach in the world".
Maradona said: "For me yes, Mou is the best.
I would give Pep the merit of taking advantage
of the launch that Johan Cruyff gave him.
"I have said on more than one occasion that
tiki-taka was not invented by Guardiola. It was
'flaco' Cruyff. At the moment Pep is able to
choose any player in the world that he wants.
That way tiki-taka is easier."

  1. Interesting read and some undeniable facts abt a great coach/manager/boss. No arguing dat Jose sits at d top with d greatest in world football coaching role, he is truly a fantastic tactician with brilliant record. But imo he is inept in some of his managerial ways. I will start by saying he is a force to be reckoned with when he started his career (right frm his porto days) but this fades away during his second coming at Chelsea and his relationship with some of his top players he's managed (i beg to differ with ur points on his players relationship) as this plays a vital role in his career going downhill, same happened with him at Utd, Real and he always eventually vacate his post as a consequence for this, and yes, he had some fantastic relationship with others too as u mentioned, but in recent years, in his two previous jobs, players relationship with some of his top players is his downfall. Lets not forget he was sacked at Chelsea/Real/Utd and all these are due to unrest in his dressing room which always translate to poor team form. A once special one is now a specialist in sacking in my book NB: that doesn't take away any credit to what's he's done in football as he's one of the greats. But this is to make you see d light to what you refuse to point out in ur writeup and am not trying to start an argument or something but jst stating d fact as you did.

    Peace: Tæn
