I want a Roma for Roma fans, Jose Mourinho's Official Roma Presentation at Roma.

José Mourinho was presented to the media on Thursday afternoon, at a glamorous event in the heart of Rome's historic district. Journalists from around the world descended upon Terrazza Caffarelli for a first glimpse at the Portuguese boss - and a first opportunity to ask him questions about his new role at AS Roma. The world-famous boss was on fine form as he addressed the media; here's everything he had to say in front of reporters. Mourinho began proceedings with a short address of his own, one mainly directed at the club's supporters. “First and foremost I need to thank the fans," he said.  "Their reaction, since the announcement, has been truly amazing. I immediately felt that strength of feeling from them. I have not done anything [yet] to deserve that, so I immediately felt in their debt. The welcome has been amazing. So, the first thing I need to do is thank all of them for that. “Beyond that, I need to thank everyone at the club, the ownership,

Home Or Rome? Wherever It Goes, We Have A Classic

It took a very controversial penalty for the Three Lions to finally roar. While they never appeared toothless, they faced an opposition who limited their bite. And they now have gotten closer to home after a pain-filled journey of successive perennial failure. For fifty-five years, England never made it to the final of any competition and the ghosts of their past failures must have taken up green and white colors of the pitch as they stretched and hustled to get a winner. It would take some piece of sheer luck, and a divisive comedy of human and machine error for England to finally heave a sigh; perhaps not of total relief yet. On Sunday, they face an Italian team, managed by arguably the finest manager on parade in the competition and one who has rejiggered the Azzurri to becoming an almost unbreakable unit. Aware that his team was coming from their lowest ebb in decades, Roberto Mancini has brought back delight and confidence to the Italian side and they are a foe to fear even on the

Can England Go On To Win The Euros?

The Three Lions have dazzled in the 2020-turn-2021 edition of the Euro, which has seen the likes of France, Portugal, Germany, and Croatia beaten in the build-up to the semi-finals. Football has always been a big deal in England, a country that is credited for the invention of football, which is known in North America, particularly the United States of America, as soccer. Disappointments in major tournaments over the past decades have left the English football fans helpless despite boasting some of the world’s most exciting footballers on the global stage. A team consisting of Steven Gerrard, young Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinard, Frank Lampard, and many Premier League stars couldn’t inspire their country to win a major trophy. That generation is regarded as the golden generation in England but a lot of factors away from football could have contributed to why that generation failed to live up to expectations. A lot of things have been said about this England team for so long. That generat

What could be the reasons behind Players Longevity Lately?

30 Seems to be the new 20 for professional football Players now. There were no surprise When David Beckham moved to L.A in 2007 at at the age of 32. Ofcourse he was no longer a "Galaticos"  I use to believe footballers careers and values start to weign down as soon as they attained the age of 30 but the present sets of professionals are proving that narratives wrong.  From Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and Thiago Silva all in their Mid and Late 30's still performing at the highest echelon of football is proving that the time of players in their early 30's moving for some Arab money or for showmanship in America is gradually coming to an abrupt end. Any footballer that just clock the age of 30 now could look at the clock and expect himself to still have nothing less than 8-10 years of active participation in the game he loves most, Modric at 35 just got another year of contract from the most successful club side in Europe.  My only question is, wh
